HOLY WATER - (AGIASMOS)
It's purpose is to bless the water that will be used to bless homes once a year.
We keep the Holy Water (Agiasmos) blessed during Epiphany Day in small bottles to use throughout the year in case of sickness when, we cannot receive Holy Communion in Church.
Traditionally our Greek Orthodox faithful have their homes blessed during January for the New Year or any other time they wish to do so-and especially if they move to a new home.
