MIRACLES
Q. What are miracles?
A. Acts, which can be done by no power or art of man, but only by the Almighty power of God.
St. John summarized the purpose of the miracles of Christ by saying that "these are written that ye might believe that Jesus is Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name” (John 20:31)
The Miracles of Jesus Christ should be accepted and believed as such because they are part of the Divinity of the Saviour, thus are a part of the content of the Christian Faith and denote His own Power. They are performed as a bridge for human souls to reach Faith in Jesus Christ.
