| What exactly does an Orthodox Christian believe? Is his faith identical with or similar to the Protestant or the Roman Catholic faith? Or is it unique? The Greek Orthodox Christian is neither a Roman Catholic nor a Protestant. His beliefs might be considered to be unique in the sense that he is a living member of and in organic unity with the original Church. In every Sunday or weekday Liturgy (worship service), the Orthodox proclaims the following tenets of his faith:
