No other Priest in the history of Christianity suffered so much in one lifetime for his religious convictions as did St. Haralambos.
He became known as the miracle-worker for the many miracles he performed on the ill and crippled believers of our Lord.
In spite of unspeakable tortures by the unbelievers, people called him "the man they cannot kill", because despite the horrible wounds inflicted on him, he survived all of them until he finally died.
