A modern day Saint (1920).

| St. Nektarios started a Convent for Nuns on the Island of Aeglna and named the convent after the Holy Trinity. He became a healer of devastating diseases when he performed miracles for people suffering from cancer, heart trouble, arthritis, epilepsy, etc, (Also celebrated on this day: Nektaria) |
