FEAST DAY OF ST. PAULA

In defiance of the customary tradition of defilement after death of bodies tossed into a ditch to remain unburied, St Paula defied orders that the bodies remain untouched, and arranged for the removal and burial of these unfortunate Christians.
For her compassion, to bury the dead with dignity, Paula was seized, imprisoned and eventually crucified
