SEPTEMBER 17

ST. SOPHIA & HER DAUGHTERS FAITH, HOPE, AND CHARITY

St. Sophia and her three young innocent daughters were put to death by the Roman Ruler for refusing to deny their Christian Faith and to desist from preaching the true word of God to the Romans. One by one her daughters were slain before her but she and each daughter refused to denounce their Christian Faith. In the end St. Sophia was also put to death.
